This is a combination role, best suited for someone who is used to working in a boutique agency environment and is accustomed to their clients getting direct contact with both customer service and title issue resolution.
The ideal candidate will also have experience as either an examiner or settlement officer, as defined below.
Prior title agency owners are welcome.
Licensing must be in New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania.
Examiner:
Examine land records and generate title commitments and all ancillary documents.
Work with attorneys and settlement team to resolve title questions.
Communicate with underwriting counsel to obtain necessary guidance.
Always keep in mind the best interest of our clients, end consumers and all stakeholders involved in a real estate transaction.
OR Settlement Officer:
Coordinate with attorneys, lenders and customers regarding closing fees, settlement statements and closing location coordination.
Work with title team on clearance matters.
Coordinate with settlement support team to complete all components of closing.

Pay will be reflective of experience, which is a broad range.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
