Description
RCM Technologies has an Accountant opening in Livingston NJ with a financial services company.
This is a contract opportunity through June 2015 with the chance of conversion to full time.
NO third parties please.
Strong accounting skills needed.
Perform monthly closing activities including:
Administrative duties to assist with Finance Modernization
Testing responsibilities (comparing results) to assist with Finance Modernization
Review automated journal entries (ie ledger / sub-ledger activity)
Develop/Record manual journal entries as needed
Record general and administrative operating expenses
Review asset values & record adjustments as needed
Review residual values adjusting depreciation schedules as needed
Expense review and accruals (legal, operating lease expense, professional fees, etc.)
Capitalize expenses as appropriate
Account Reconciliations (ex. maintenance reserves, security deposits, etc)
Review key financial statement line items / accounts (B&S and P&L)
Skills
Accounting, Finance or Economics degree required;
Must be extremely well organized, strong communication skills, and detailed oriented.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills are a plus.
Team player with the ability to multi-task.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
