Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Senior .Net Developer for a right to hire assignment with one of our premier financial clients in Livingston, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Prepare prototypes for architecture layers for the applications and database
Provide support to development teams
Monitor all phases of projects and assist in developing specifications and architecture design for application systems
Assist domain experts and analyze business requirements for clients.
Monitor everyday activities of system and provide require support
Develop effective UI/UX using MVVM for various business processes
Should be able to take a Business Requirements Document and conduct an analysis to generate both a Technical and Functional Spec.
Willing to take full ownership of assigned task and future support
Will be required to participate in formal and informal code-review sessions
Potential candidate will be working within a small group using C#/WPF/WCF and T-SQL to complete the coding of the assigned project within prescribed timeframes.
He/She will be using TFS, and will have to follow guidelines prescribed by the team lead to ensure the correct versioning methodology is followed
Code will have to be written in the most efficient manner possible using proper OO methodologies.
Will be responsible for choosing the right design patterns for the task at hand
Will be involved in the full SDLC of the project
Gather customer software requirements and develop related software applications and programs
Research and evaluate software related technologies and products
Design and develop testing and maintenance procedures and activities
Develop and write high quality coding that meets business user requirements
Create software documentation and update existing documentation
Design, develop and implement critical applications in a .Net environment
Assist and support other team members on multiple projects
Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies
Ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the life cycle of software products
Prepare unit tests for code that is being developed
Prepare and maintain code for various dot Net applications and resolve any defects in systems
Participate in status meetings for projects and prepare new proposals and draft strategies
Required Skills:
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Sr. .NET developer implementing and supporting business applications
Strong skills in .NET 4.0 +. C#, Win Forms, WPF, WCF, Knowledge of ORM's
Strong Relational database background SQL Server 2008, SSIS
Strong Problem solving and root cause identification skills
Solid Experience in Analysis, Design and Development of Rich client applications and Services
Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
Must be a self-starter, work well independently and in a collaborative team environment
Strong verbal/written communications and presentation skills
Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Web application(ASP.NET, MVC)
Experience in the Banking and/or Large Corporate Financial Services companies in a technology development and support function.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum Methodology

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
