Lead Courier
OverviewAtlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Lead Courier for Atlantic AmbulanceResponsibilities
Essential Functions:
Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule Assist with interview process of new employees Assist with orientation of new employees Follow up and/or attend meetings regarding special courier requests Assist in staffing shifts Ensure all Courier Run Sheets are updated monthly and filed out Must know all courier routes and be able to fill in as needed Ensure that all Atlantic Transportation employees are in full uniform and maintain a professional appearance Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and damage on a regular basis Request vehicle supplies from Atlantic Ambulance Fleet Coordinator as needed (lab bags, spill kits, fire extinguishers, flares, reflective triangles, accident kits, and First Aid Kit with CPR mask, hand truck, EZ Pass, etc) Responsible for follow up on vehicle accident reports and damage repair Interact directly with drivers and Atlantic Ambulance Fleet Coordinator on issues pertaining to vehicle servicing schedules and vehicle maintenance/mechanical issues Responsible for DMV documentation as needed by AAC Fleet Coordinator Ensure vehicles are at Dorsa for scheduled monthly maintenance Keep track of vehicles that are out of service or have been contracted out for repairs and services Ensure all vehicle Rig Check Sheets are completed Assist and cover Atlantic Ambulance Transportation Dispatch Work closely with all Leads and nurture a team environment with all employees Cross train employees to assist in various positions within the Transportation Department Assists with evaluations and plans for improvement Must attend at least 50% of all Transportation staff meetings
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidate must possess a clean NJ driver's license (CDL optional), be CPR/First Aid Certified, be available for night, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed, and be able to be discreet when dealing with sensitive/confidential information.
