FREE - 1940's Lester Upright Piano - Pickup Only - Livingston NJ for sale in Livingston, NJ
This Lester upright piano with piano bench was owned by a local resident orchestra director, violinist, and pianist. Original certificate is hard to read but we think it is 1942.The keys have a very light touch, and they all seemed to be functioning fine, but they do have quite a few chips from not being maintained over the years. I'm no piano expert, so I'm not sure what shape it's in "under the hood", but my ear tells me the piano at least definitely needs tuning. It's a really pretty color and simple retro modern styling. Please help us get this piano to a good home!If you are interested at all, PLEASE come and take this piano. We can't bear the thought of this piano being hacked apart in the front yard before heading to the dump which is the only other alternative!Anyone interested must be equipped to (carefully) remove this from the home in Livingston, NJ (07039). It is probably about 300 pounds, but is located right near the front door for easy access outside.
